Hello dear reader,
I’m backkkkk, from a hiatus, career break, whatever you like to call it. I now live by the sea in Devon, with my husband and two daughters, and I am back to work. I have a new picture book coming out with the delightful team at Puffin (Penguin Random House (how lucky am I??) and it is an incredibly special book. It’s the most personal and beautiful thing I’ve ever made, I cannot wait for you all to see it.
I will share lots more as we get closer to it coming out on 12th February 2026, but I’ve written this book for my daughter Wren, we lost her in 2019 and I had never expected to make a book relating to my grief… but it was quite incredible how my creativity and my grief entwined, and both the writing and drawing of it were real therapy. It was such an unknown path to making this book, I will be sharing more of the process in time.
